I am using Thunderbird 52.2.1. My question is about the add-on ImportExportTools 3.2.5. I have a mailaccount which has an inbox and many folders, subfolders and sub-sub-folders. How do I export all mails to EML-files retaining the folder structure? All options of the add-on I've tried does not give me the right result. Any help would be appreciated.

From reading the add-on description, and looking at the menus, I think that importing and exporting folders with structure only works for mbox format, not eml, and even that process has Known Issues.

Depending on what you want to do with the exported eml files, you may find that a product like MailStore (Windows only) is useful.
