I previously synced my laptop Firefox with my mobile. My mobile Firefox now has all of my laptop bookmarks. My laptop crashed. I bought a new laptop. I want to transfer my bookmarks from my mobile to my new laptop. How?

1- Sync doesn't work because I can't get the recovery key (previous laptop is garbage and the key can not be obtained from the mobile). I could create a new one, but it states that current data will be erased, thus, what is the point of recovery, it is the same as creating a new account. Therefore, I lose my bookmarks by syncing without the old recovery key. 2- There seems to be no other way to export Firefox mobile bookmarks.

Hey testate,

You can pair a new device from your Android phone by going to Settings > Accounts > Firefox Sync > Pair a new Device.

Hello Yalam,

Thank you so much. This worked.

Note: the 'Settings' are in the Android operating system (Ice Cream Sandwich for me), not in the Firefox browser.

Heh, I forgot to specify that.

Glad to hear it's working!

Didn't work for me... there is no "account" option under settings on my mobile device. This is so lame.
