thunderbird does not connect to mozilla, nor can firefox gets the same message, and cannot add exception

What are the full and precise steps that lead you to gettin gthis error?

start thunderbird, update thunderbird, unpdate firefox, mozilla products are not ale to get to mozilla.org

only used mozilla products since they started, now firefox is useless as cand connect to numerous web pages
