Digital Persona Extension is not compatible with Firefox 4 ?????!!!!! but with Firefox 3.6 ??????????!!!! and its is an important program on my hp laptop so please tell how to solve this problem and make this program work with the new versions of Firefox specially if it is working fine with ver 3.6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is extremely frustrating, but the solution I ended up with was using the FingerFox add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fingerfox-se/ for Firefox.
EgisTec, who now provide the HP Simplepass application, have made an update of the scanner software for Firefox 4, for details see https://support.mozilla.com/questions/814397
