I want fire fox 2 remember my passwords .on some sites it will ask me, then on others it won't ask at all. I have checked my settings and remembering password is turned on. any ideas?e

on some web sites Firefox will ask to remember passwords. Then on other sites it won't. I want it to ask me to remember on all web sites that I visit. I have checked my settings and remembering passwords is turned on.

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.
