The contextual menu that is supposed to give the option to open link in new tab does not work with image links. I want Firefox to auto open links in new tab on android. Where is that option?

Why does the image links when long press give the image context menu on android when in desktop when right-clicked gives the open link in new tab option? Isn't long press the same as right-clicking?

It is the same for me on both mobile and desktop, as described in my post. I do not have a login for the site. If you are viewing the page logged in, I don't see what you see.

Yes I am viewing it logged in. Still shouldn't the images which open in a new tab on the desktop version, open in the android version as well?

If the desktop and mobile views are the same, yes. However, it sounds as though they are not the same, based on your experience.
