I save my user names and passwords to the privacy link. They are not being saved and I have to ask the websites for a new set. I have my Firefox to not clean history or cookies automatically.

I am losing my mind!! Firefox shows "your tab just crashed" all the time. It works fine in Troubleshooting Mode. I tried your suggestions such as: disable add-ons & turn off accelerator, reloaded new firefox. These do not solve the problem. I have been with you for years and this is the first time a problem. I am not very computer literate at 82 years old. I am totally lost and need your help!

Firefox is showing my bookmarks when a webpage is opened, and I would like it to show another set of bookmarks when a new empty tab is opened.

Firefox is telling me to "manage bookmarks" but I don't see another category which is for the bookmark toolbar shown on a new tab, all bookmarks are shown in the widget next to the search bar.

I know I can move the widget, but I want to use both rows for different bookmarks.

Is it possible?

I am running Windows 11, with Firefox 97.0 ("Up To Date"), but the installer for the new 115 ESR does not work.

The installer (Firefox Setup 115.18.0.esr.exe) seems to think that my system is running Windows 7 and does not proceed.

Hi, I avoid updating firefox browser because each time I do it resets all my configuration parameters and uninstalls my plugins. If your product version update could do this without loosing all my setup/configurations I'd be more apt to updating 'promptly'. And, I've tried the 'save your settings' suggestion I've found on the web but that is not convenient so again I avoiding doing this troublesome workaround as I have to 'review/remember how to backup firefox configuration settings each time' and review/remember 'what plugins I've installed' so I can re-install them. Thx Firefox browser user Also, when will the browser be used as simple 'gui' rather than a 'marketing/data spying tool'? I go to the same few websites and don't do any shopping so no need for 'google spying tools' to tell the marketing people to 'what I'm looking for'. I also never, ever click on any web page ads. Please create a browser version with all the underlying 'spying guts' removed, ie a 'simply, safe gui interface' for windows like back in the 1990s.

Is it possible to use Thunderbird's export function to export emails sent/received between two dates on my desktop and then import that onto the work laptop? I need to update work's new laptop and only need to do it between two dates.

I keep getting a message "Not responding" for a few seconds, I can't move from one email to the next before I get an error. It loads eventually but it's taking forever to review my emails.
