Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to prevent the synchronization of a particular extension. I have a laptop and a pc: on the laptop I have a distro with KDE as desktop environment. On the pc I have Linux Mint. Now every time that I start Firefox on the pc, I get an error related the impossibility to install the Plasma Integration extension (which is a correct considering that KDE is not installed on the pc). But it is a bit annoying to see this error every time.. Some advice?

I suggest you to create two Firefox profiles - one for the laptop and one for the PC and sync the PC user only Or try to replace the problematic extension with another like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/keyboard-control-for-firefox/?src=search

With sync, you can pick what type of data is shared. But there is no option to select to not share one item.

What you can do is to deselect add-ons. Then if you find an add-on you want on both systems, send the add-ons link to the other system. Like an e-mail.

Syncing the extensions is a very useful feature and I don't want to disable it.

yes it could be a solution, but it's a little annoying to manage 2 accounts only for a single (problematic) extension. I think that I will stand the error I was talking about.. Thanks anyway for suggestions ;)
