Black screen display when returned from window lock
I usually lock my windows XP when away from computer for few minutes by "windows key" + "L". Before I lock the computer, I left my FireFox on the top of my screen. Once I have "unlock" my windows, the FireFox shows up as a black windows with only the title bar displaed.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
