Have Win XP pro, printer Epson TX100. At some times the print has been almost too small to read. Lately it is too big to fit a page unless I use the print command under the file menu, where I can change the % size, but then I get the whole page showing the FF headers, side bar, etc. I have tried changing font size in FF, but it makes no difference.

I neglected to mention that Page Setup settings are available in two places:

(1) (menu bar) File menu > Page Setup

If you do not normally display the menu bar, you can display it temporarily by tapping the Alt or F10 keys.

(2) Print Preview

The toolbar has a Page Setup button, and the scaling and orientation are exposed directly on the bar as well.

Try using the print preview. This will help you.

Yes, I can go to File and Print Preview, but I get the whole website, not just the email I wish to print. By doing Ctrl P I just get the email, but cannot seem to find a way to control the font size, which is about an 18.

Most webmail sites generate a special print-formatted page without all the toolbars, ads, and other stuff that complicates printing. Because these often display in a pop-up window, you may want to check your page setup in a regular window first to make sure that the scaling is either a reasonable number (like 80-100%) or set to Shrink to Fit.

If you can't find the Print button or link for your webmail site, do you want to mention which one it is? Someone with an account on the site could describe it.

Thanks a bunch, J.... #1 did the trick. Page Setup has a shrink to fit button. Re. #2, I don't get a print preview when trying to print a single email with Ctrl P; only get that when using the File menu, which then previews and prints the whole web page. Maybe that's an Epson printer problem.... old machine but works well.
