Why doesn't the latest version of FF work with the latest version of Xmarks anymore?

I've used Xmarks and FF together for years. Never a problem. Now, Xmarks won't sync, or if it does finally... it loses bookmarks. I already asked at Xmarks but got no answer. My solution: Go back to pre-ver 56 FF and turn off updates. Not a very good solution but at least it works with Xmarks again.

I don't know the details of the Xmarks add-on problems, but if you search for xmarks here and elsewhere on the web you can find lots of discussions.

Yeah, I know. I'm tired of reading all the other folks having the same problem. I just want it fixed.

Since Mozilla is not the owner of Xmarks please Contact the Developer of the Extension from this page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/xmarks-sync/ You will find their support page and contact info.

Mozilla ok's the use of Extensions and provides the Developer with a page to distribute their Extension only.

Contact the Developer.
