When I go to google maps at google.com/maps it is adding /@33.1654677,-96.6694902,12.75z to the address. How can this be fixed? I have deleted cookies.
I have attempted to delete cookies and data for all google sites. This does not fix problem. I can access google maps through chrome just fine at google.com/maps.

I think that '33.1654677,-96.6694902,12.75' is a location.
I agree it is a location. I need to go to google.com/maps without the additional location added to the address automatically. This is something that just started happening.

Not yet. It seems to be a Firefox problem because it does not happen in Google Chrome. I will try anyway.
Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?
if you use a bookmark to access a specific page then instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
Note that Google adds the location and zoom factor (third parameter;12.75z) to the request URL instead of using cookies to store and pass this information to the server. This is expected behavior because you need to tell the website what location to display and you can't prevent this. All websites that need data to display content will use a way to pass these parameters and can't work without it (they wouldn't know what to display).
I am not using a bookmark for google maps and I used the "forget about this site" several times to clear all cookies and data.
I manually enter google.com/maps in the address line. Before I have a chance to enter an address in the search window the following gets added after the word "maps": /@33.0187975,-96.7160637,17.25z. I try to enter an address in the search window and get an error message at the bottom of the page: "Server error: Please try again later". I am not able to remove the unwanted map co-ordinates from the address line. They just re-fill before I can do anything else. It seems like the corrupted address is being stored in my computer. It has started doing the same thing in my Google Chrome browser.
Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.
Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.
Thank you for your time. This did not solve the problem. Still automatically filling in /@33.0187975,-96.7160637,17.25z after I manually type in google.com/maps. This keeps me from searching addresses in the search window. I get message at the bottom of page: "Server error. Please try again later".
Are you allowing Google Maps access to your location?
Try signing out of any Google account temporarily and try loading Maps page again.
Regardless, this (normal) appearance of coordinates in the address bar should have no effect on searching anything in the map window. "Server error: Please try again later", means exactly "server error", it doesn't mean there is a problem with anything on your end. Why that is the case is your mystery here.
That action of adding map coordinates and the zoom factor, via what looks like a re-load of https://www.google.com/maps/ is something new for Google Maps that I haven't seen happen before now > 02-01-2020.
It seems to be loading a map that is centered very near the location of local connection for my ISP connection to the backbone of the internet. Up until this change the Google map would center closer to my true physical location, about a mile and a half from that I currently get for the map center; but this is the first time that I get what appears to be a re-load and adding exact map coordinates and the zoom factor.
A little bit disarming, like a loss of perceived privacy. But of course, there is no real privacy (or hiding your location) when you are using the internet.
