Having problems viewing images on ebay
in ebay in my own listings i am having a auto load image failure, yes yes yes I did add the web addresses under auto load images , exceptions and allow for both hosting web sites and even though they are in their. it will still NOT NOT NOT load the images. it will make me, by forcing me, to go to view 1 image on the page then it says WARNING YOUR ABOUT TO GO FROM A SECURE CONNECTION TO A UN SECURE CONNECTION. then AFTER I say yes and go to view that 1 image it unlocks all of the other images on the web page.
and why is that happening because the firefox is not programmed correctly as in the base coding i can not change, I would need to tell it to STOP STOP STOP blocking the images and stop warning me when i am going from a secure connection to a unsecure connection.
and it will not not not for the love of god not load images on ebay in secure when the images are hosted from a unsecure web site.

Can you check this issue at Firefox 9?
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
- Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
- Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
- Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
- Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.images pref should be 1.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
load images was set to use default so i changed it to allow
in exceptions i have both of the web sites as allow
I was not able to find any blocked images on that ebay page
checked the articles but no help, guess i'll try firefox 9.0 lol
and 9.0 is the same on viewing the images. same secure to non secure warning.
i know I just installed it
Are those images coming from an https link?
no for example on this page in ebay : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230719917355&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
2 of the images it will not let me view with out doing the secure to un secure connection q and a is
http://alien-computer.org/Documents/web%20site.jpg and http://alien-computer.org/Documents/119867306_o.jpg
but this image at the top of the page it will show me http://alien-computer.org/Documents/sword%20case%20002.jpg as well as images hosted in ebay. funny it gives me the secure to un secure warning since that ebay page is http not https. and even though it does block the images it does not block the youtube video plug in's in that listing. I know that is different but you would think if it was going to have a problem with some thing it would be their coding long before simple jpg and gif pictures.
Are you using an extension that may try to force a secure connection?
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Installing FIREFOX 7.0.1 fixed the problem. The problem is inherit to firefox 8.0 and above.
