I ahve an excel database and want to use some of the information in it to provided email addresses for thunderbird. I have cut out infomration excel database I don't need and saved as csv. In thunderbird I try to import csv file - I align the data name for surname etc and import - thunderbird says 180 addresses imported but no information appears in the screen. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Tim

Do they show up if you close and reopen Address Book? Is the Display Name field of the csv empty?
