Apparently this needs to put at focus again, new update new features. Easier than fixing and adding support for what doesn't work. English is king, screw everybody else.

The spirit of tech.

... And yes, i have posted it as an idea. Perhaps you all should too.

Could you clarify: Are you referring to changing the search engine on non-English phones

or

Are you referring to changing the language of the search engine on your English phone?

"Are you referring to changing the search engine on non-English phones"

This is what I want. My iOS is not set to English and therefore I'm not allowed to choose another search engine other that Google, Twitter or Wiki.

Which language are you using? Mine is set to English, so I can't test it myself, but if I look at the translations for the Change your default search engine in Firefox for iOS, the feature is there. For instance, there's an Italian version at https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/modificare-motore-ricerca-predefinito-firefox-os

My iOS is set to Danish... But what I don't know is, why choosing a search engine (accessing a website) should be limited to or have anything to with your iOS language.

I'm not sure, but I think it has to do with the contracts with each search provider.

I'd still prefer for someone else using Danish to confirm that there are no other search engines in the Danish version.
