Is this with all links, some, a few?

Right-click on a link and select Copy Link Then on this forum, Paste the link into the reply box.

Is the problem fixed?

The problem isn't fixed which I still want to figure out. In the meantime, I'm opening links with the right click. Any other suggestions?

If you can open the link via the right-click context menu or possibly by pasting the URL in the location/address bar then you may have an extension that is modifying the URL when you left-click.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

• switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
• do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
