I've upgraded to Fx32 and finally had to ditch the old Google Bar because it was affecting other features (I had kept it going by updating the version in the rtf file). I've installed Googlebar Lite instead. It appears as it should on my desktop computer, but on my laptop although there's a horizontal gap where it ought to be, there's nothing there.

Both machines run Win7 (64) and Fx32. I have tried both disabling/enabling and removing and reinstalling, with no improvement. I'm working with Version 5.0.2.

I'd be grateful for ideas as to what to try next, please.

Regards,

Tim Dawson

Hi Tim, The support site for the addon is http://www.borngeek.com/firefox/googlebarlite/ however if its working on one and not the other, have you tried to reinstall the addon?

It is also possible to Customize the layout from the menu path to show toolbars:  New Fx Menu   -> "+Customize"

Thank you. Problem solved.

I found the entire googlebar (as one button) in the 'Additional Tools and Features' section of the Customise option.

I had not realised that an entire Toolbar could lurk there, I'm only used to seeing individual buttons.
