Ever since updating to the new firefox quantum I've had a annoying white flash whenever i open a new tab, I fixed with in the old firefox by changing the background color to black in Option/Font and Color. I already tried changing to the dark theme but It just makes the white flash more noticeable. This has really been bother me so if anyone knows a fix please let me know. Thanks!

Maybe the problem is that there's no built-in way to do it. Other people have noted that the dark theme is incomplete, and I don't know the time frame for making it extend to built-in pages, sidebars, etc. For now, you can use a combination of custom style rules which allow you to modify the default properties of Firefox's built-in style sheets.

Here's an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/6s2l0w/removing_the_white_flash_before_a_page_loads/

I realize the author of that posted a warning about form fields. I haven't tried it myself so I don't know what the issue is.
