some pictures are not loading and some website look different
Ok... i recently upgraded to a solid state hard drive. i have loaded the recent version of Firefox. i am having difficulty with two different web sites so far. the first is the web site i have attached the url to... www.pictureman.me. when the web site loads, some of the pictures on the main page do not load. specifically the third row down... the two pictures to the far left. additionally, if you open the "click here to see more example" when i open that link MANY of the thumbnails do not appear. and when i click on any thumbnail it does NOT open the larger version.
my second issue is difficult to describe, but i will try. when i open www.photoshopgurus.com the entire web page now looks VERY different than before,
both of these issues did NOT occure BEFORWE i change hard drives.... and both issue DO NOT occur when i open the sites with netscape.
any help is very much appriciated....
Thanks....Dave

Try holding down the shift key while clicking reload on the page that's giving you trouble. If that doesn't work you might have to just clear the cache: How to clear the Firefox cache
OK... i did both... and the pictureman.me page almost works correctly.... only now when i open the page with the thumbnails of the gallery a FEW thumbnails still do not load...
i did both your suggestions... holding the shift key AND cleared the cache..
For the pictureman.me page I get errormessages in the errorconsole saying that the images are corrupt. So that may be a site issue.
Ok.. all is working fine now... however, i cleared the cache manually and now all my automatic log ins to frequent sites are cleared.... when i type the user name it remembers the name and log in... but it is NOT automatically there when i open the page for the first time... is this because i have chosen to clear all history when firefox is closed???
It is possible that you have configured Firefox to remove all passwords when closing. See http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Username%20and%20password%20not%20remembered
