Hi Graemeclough, It may be that the email page you are using has been tampered with in the cache, however this is a Thunderbird question, not a Firefox question. Send and manage email

Hey Graemeclough, Are you looking at the email in a private window? The Firefox button will be purple if you are. Certain elements do not load in private windows. From what I gather from my gmail it is javascript.

  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
  • Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"

Graemeclough, can you confirm weather we're talking about Firefox or Thunderbird here?
