Buttons in Security Tab don't work in Firefox 57 32 bits Linux

more options

I 've used Firefox from many years ago. Frequently I check for certificate details of web using the "View certificate" button of security tab.

From Firefox 57 this button (and the same with the rest of buttons of this tab: "View cookies" and "View saved passwords") doesn't work. I click in the button, but nothing appears in the screen.

I have two machines with Firefox 57 installed in Ubuntu 16.04 32 bits updated with the last security updates. This behavior appears in both of them.

I've tested to run firefox in safe mode, without addons, and the problem also appears in this case.

Can you help me to resolv this problem?

Thanks

Hello

I still have the problem. Using the "Explorer Console", when I put the mouse over the window of "Page Information", starting to appear the next error in the console:

TypeError: node.querySelector is not a function page.js:1610:29

and the counter of error is increasing while I keep the mouse over the window of "Page Information".

Also, I've updated to Firefox 58 32 bits and the problem haven't disappear.

Would anybody help me?

Thanks

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (58.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:

Hello cor-el

First, thank you very much for your help.

I've created a new profile and I've checked that the buttons of security tab works fine. Then I've transfered the files from my previous profile to the new profile and again, the buttons of security tab works fine.

Next, I've transfered the subfolders of extensions and the buttons works fine also.

I've transfered the files of session from my previous profile to the new, and the buttons works fine.

I don't know why the buttons in the old profile fail, but they works fine in the new profile.

Any idea about where would be the problem in the old profile? (I'm afraid I can lost any configuration from old profile, for example, any configuration of any addon)

Thank you
