Copy Firefox without Installation
I've installed firefox in my laptop, and I want to use it in my PC with same bookmark, settings, cookies.. all same
What I have done is: I copy Firefox (whole folder where firefox.exe exist), then apply the profile. It works well, no trouble until now.
But, I have question: is copying whole installed firefox to another PC (without installation) is okay? From security and privacy perspective..

You would be better off using the full installer. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
As to the profiles, you can copy the profile folder to another computer. But only with the same type of operating system.
You can also use sync to merge different profiles data.

What risk can happen if I copy firefox without installation?
Copy would only copy the files. The installer would install. This may include setting up the registry and other things.
And what 'bad effect' can happen if there's no registry (and other things) installed?

That depends on the system and the program. Some programs don't use the registry. Other do.

What is wrong with installing Firefox by copying the installer to the other device versus copying the Firefox installation folder that only stores the program files and not the profile folder with personal data ?
Actually, I've made a veracrypt container special for two firefox browsers (different addon, setting, etc). I also move profile location inside encryption volume. To prevent anyone access my browser or do something bad with the profile.
I always backup these encrypted container periodically. So when my device broken, I can copy that backuped container without any problem.
And I think, it's good and easy if I can launch that backuped firefox without reinstalling it again. I've do that once, and no problem until now.
But I want to know if there's bad effect if use that backuped Firefox without reinstall?
