I have one site that I use regularly that I can't get it to rembmer the password for. It is not in the exceptions list and you can't add one manually. What do I do?

The site in question is internal to our organization and it has saved in the past, but I was recently required to change the password and FF did not update it. I deleted the site from the list so it would be forced to re-store it with the new password, but it never has. It is not in the exceptions list, and there is nothing on the site to prevent saving. The only thing is that it never has populated the fields automatically, but waits until I start to type my user ID. One letter, though and it would auto-complete everything else. But no more. I wish I could manually add it to the list.

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.

You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
