My current service provider, Verizon, will soon no longer provide email serving. I wish to stay with Thunderbird; but must use another provider. How to do that?
So do I just choose another email svc provider of my choosing? Is there one that works better with Thunderbird? I'd hoped to keep Thunderbird. Verizon (my ISP and email Provider) will no longer be providing email svc and I cannot keep a verizon.net email address unless I make AOL my email provider. But, if I do that I cannot use Thunderbird, if I'm reading the notice from Verizon correctly. I MUST find another email provider before May 2nd. Help greatly appreciated.

It looks like it should be no problem using Thunderbird and keeping your email address as long as you log that with Verizon.
