I do a search and a black screen with white font appears with white font 18+ video for adults only click "allow" from yourbesttools.com
I do a search and a black screen with white font appears blocking me and claims you must be 18+ and I already claimed that earlier with safesearch off. I think this is a virus of some kind and wondering how to get rid of it. Have you heard of this happening? I look in Control Panel under programs to uninstall and don't find it there. What can I do?

The only thing I could find in a web search was; https://yourbesttool.com.cutestat.com/ Web Analysis for Yourbesttool - yourbesttool.com
This information is almost a year old. I tried to ask for updated information but it failed.
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; (<Control> [Mac=<Command>] <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove “ yourbesttoo “ Anything.
Also remove SafeSearch, SearchAssist Incognito, FileConverter Addon, SearchLock, DiscreteSearch, WebSearch, Findwide Search Engine, securedsearch
Now do the same in the computer’s Programs Folder.
Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

1: Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.
2:
You may have ad/mal-ware.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Hi Fred McD!
Very nice of you to take your precious time to respond as I would have no idea what to do to get rid of that "18+ adults only" black screen, and I am far beyond the age of 18... . I'm sorry as I failed to also add that this screen appears when I'm using DuckDuckgo, and also in the Mozilla Firefox Private Browsing that starts with that purple screen. Would that effect your answer at all? I'm a little afraid and need to clear that with you or anyone here first before I do what you mention because I wonder if the Private Browsing and DuckDuckgo already have ad blockers and there would be some kind of conflict. I just want to be sure. I hope you see this somehow. I appreciate your advice!
Sincerely, Winfred
Hi Again FredMcD!
Sorry again as I forgot to say that this black screen happens when I'm in Bing.com under "Images" with "SafeSearch" off if that too makes a difference with your answer.
Thanks Again! Winfred

Private browsing only removes what you do during the current session. I do not know DuckDuckgo.
Go to Bing. Then, in the upper-right corner is your user icon, go to the options and select 'Safe Search - On.'
Hi FredMcD!
Very nice of you to take the time and that's okay if you don't know. I was searching with SafeSearch off as that was what I was hoping to keep doing. Thanks though for taking the time and for your patience too.
Sincerely, Winfred
If the problem continues with Safe Search turned on, then that is not the problem and you can turn it off.
Hi FredMcD!
Very nice of you to be so patient and my being vague. The problem happens when I choose to search with SafeSearch off only and it never did before all the times I searched with SafeSearch off. I feel like "yourbesttool" has taken over my computer without my will when I want to search with SafeSearch off. I'm very sorry too as I had the dot com address wrong in my original question as it does not end with an "s" it is as I type it here, "yourbesttool" and dot com With that said, do you or anyone else who sees this know how I can remove this problem from my computer and still be able to search with SafeSearch off? Thanks for the volunteering work you do! Thanks! Winfred

It’s very sad, but many software downloaders/ installers will trick you into installing not only their program, but other programs as well.
You have heard of the fine print in shady contracts, right? Well, some installers you need to look at the itsy bitsy teeny weeny fine print.
You are thinking you are giving the installer permission to install the program you want by using the recommended option. But if you use the Manual Option Instead, you discover all kinds of stuff that you do not even know what it is or what it does.
From now on, everyone needs to Use The Manual Option to put a stop to this.
Note that these programs can also change browser/computer settings.
Hi FredMcD!
Wow! You're very patient with my convoluted ways of communicating and sorry about that. So nice of you to take the time you did to help, a magnanimous person you are! Thanks for volunteering your great knowledge of the cyber world!
Kindest Regards, Winfred
Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
