WHEN I OPEN BROWSER, INSTEAD OF GETTING MY ATT.NET HOMEPAGE, IT SAYS "YAHOO-410 GONE"AND THE PAGE IS BLANK. I HAVE TO CLOSE FIREFOX AND OPEN INTERNET EXPLORER TO GET THE ATT.NET HOMEPAGE.

Sounds like a server error message for a page that doesn't exist any longer or a page that is on a server that isn't working. Is this - http://att.my.yahoo.com/ - the page you use as your "homepage"?

If not, please post the exact URL of that web page and one of us could try to check it out. Or you could contact ATT.net support to find out if they recently changed the home page for their users.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT REPLY. I FIDDLED AROUND TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS. FINALLY DID SOMETHING THAT WORKED, LOL. I'M KINDA A NOVICE, BUT I CLICKED ON TOOLS, OPTIONS, GENERAL TAB AND ERASED WHAT WAS THERE FOR HOME PAGE AND TYPED IN http://att.my.yahoo.com

THAT WORKED.
