Can't send on main email, but can on another, both use the default smtp settings.
Using Thunderbird 38.7.2 under Linux Mint 16. I cannot send under the email mz_dede@oceandrop.org, yet can under ariel753@oceandrop.org. Both use the default SMTP, mz_dede@oceandrop.org to send.
I get an administrative error.
Not sure why one works, and not the other, since both use the one SMTP data. Both receive mail. It's frustrating, because it is my main account that won't work.
Regards. Dede

Try creating a new "account" in Thunderbird for that e-mail address, and see if using it works.

Thanks Bruce, this worked a treat. Not at all sure why, but it did! Thanks again.
Theoretically it should not make any difference, but since we are dealing with Windows, the stupidest things can & do happen. A glitch with one account.
