Delete new tab king addon
I have this on my old laptop and like it so added it to my new laptop but didn't realise that it no longer works on win 10. It downloaded but now i can't get rid of it and it opens every time I open a new tab but doesn’t function.
I want to remove it but can’t find how as I cannot find a way to do it, having tried all obvious methods.
Why aren’t discontinued addons removed from the Addons menu so that they can’t be downloaded?

Thank you for the replies. When I turned on the laptop just now I found that something has worked and I now have been able to remove the Addon. Thanks for the help - much appreciated.

No add-on is removed by Firefox unless it has been blocked by Mozilla.
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Find that add-on and select Disable or Remove

Did you find that add-on? What do you mean 'didn't work.' BTW: My internet is down.
According to some comments, it appears that the home page (ww1.newtabking.com) used by this extension has been discontinued (parked) and is no longer available. This essentially breaks this extension and you will have to uninstall it.
