Are you aware of the "get a free i phone" scam done in your name?
Every now and then I get a big block on my laptop saying it the "An annual firefox customer survey and I can win an iphone. but it turns out to be nothing but a scam to get one sign up for stuff like bitcoin trading or some guru who tells fortunes. What nonsense is this and worse if firefox is aware of it - does it condone such scams?

Yes, these scams unfortunately happen from time to time. We take legal action when possible, but the people behind these scams are almost impossible to find.
There are some things you can do to help avoid seeing these:
- Install an adblocker: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
- Install www.malwarebytes.com, and run scans with it monthly.
- Keep windows and Firefox up to date religiously.
