Well, since I'm not sure what Email provider you are using, it is a bit hard to diagnose this problem, but you can read the [[Websites look wrong|Websites look wrong]] article, which provides some basic troubleshooting of this type of issue. Also, please go ahead and update to Firefox 11, Firefox 8, which you are running is quite old and out of date with several known security holes and bugs.
