Hi all, I've looked high and low for this, but can't find it... I have a couple of laptops and a desktop - one of the laptops has started showing a sidebar with buttons. I really like the utility of it and want to do same on second laptop and desktop, but all the settings I've tried just give me the old style of bookmarks. The version I want has a side pane with curved corners, and several buttons remain along left, almost like a left hand side menu bar. But where's the on/off button to add it to my other machines? All using latest version, and all logged in as me - I don't understand why, if its an update, it hasn't done so to all computers?

I have poor vision and have enlarge text with Ctrl + and when I put in text in the search box, the text move to the small address bar, and I can't see what I type :( . Can I stop this unneccssary behavior?

All of a sudden every time I open Firefox the bookmarks sidebar shows up opened. I do not want it to "always" open. In the past this never happened. How can I make it so this is not the case? I did try different things I found by Googling it. But nothing seems to work. thanks.

For some time now, Firefox (the desktop version) has included a "recent browsing" section, which can be seen in the tab list before the open tabs. I would love to use it more, but moving the mouse to the corner every time to click it is a little irritating, and I would love a keyboard shortcut or the ability to set one (Alt+0 sounds very logical in particular - seeing as how Alt+[1-9] already takes me to a tab of corresponding number).

Can I set such a shortcut somehow or does it exist and I missed it?

As stated I can't click/drag or resize browser windows. I'm running windows 7. I've already tried safe mode, refreshing, and just running the installer for the previous version, all didn't change anything.

I want to be able to see the full text of my specific bookmark. My bookmark says "First National Bank of Huntsville". At present, it shows "First National Bank of..." Is there a way to do this?

I've downloaded Firefox on a new computer. Following step #1, there is not green "download as" button so I can't proceed with the installation. Is a "donation" required before installation can be completed. If so, no problem. Kindly advise what I'm doing wrong.

I've finally been able to get my Bookmarks Toolbar active and add what I wish to add but I cannot REMOVE a few of the sites on that toolbar. One is Your Getting Started and the other belongs to Dell. No matter what I do I cannot delete them or move them elsewhere. Can you help. Windows 11. I also need to know what happens to the overflow...do they continue on that line or do they go elsewhere. I don't use folders but have tried to move the sites I mentioned to no avail."

I have several browser windows open at any given time, some have been shrunk - like Pandora, which only shows the main streaming controls [play, pause, next, like, dislike, repeat, ... ]. The problem is that when I ask FireFox to create / spawn a new window, it opens at the size of what ever the last window I was viewing. This could the the size I want, or too large, or too small. I would like an open to lock the default new window size in. It would be nice to do this per site, but I'm not going to ask for that power .. yet! =)

The Bookmarks toolbar changed after yesterday's firefox update: The toolbar as you can see from the below screen grab, shows blanks with the original title, but URLs have disappeared and are neither editable or useable i.e. cannot be deleted. Google, the BBC link and the one for my central heating have gone! Not only on my workstation but also on a brand new Dell notebook. Please advise me a.s.a.p. or notify me and probably others . Thank you

Hello, after I reinstalled Windows and Firefox itself, I had a problem with the fact that custom icons of attached sites are not displayed in Firefox, before reinstalling Windows everything was great, everything was displayed and shown, after they stopped showing even from the same resources from which I took these images and in the preview. 1 screenshot : before 2 screenshot : after

I have 2 extensions active in FireFox: Bitwarden & FireFox Relay.

However, I do not see a setting to pin these to the tob menu bar, for easy access.

I have no problems getting to the settings for the extensions, just no way to access their actual use (as I normally have in Chrome or Safari).

Please advise how this would work in Mac OS X 15.2 FireFox version 134.0 (aarch 64)

hi i got used to a small search window in lower left of FF....is gone!. i thought it was an add on but can find no trace of it so was it a ff feature?

it would simply locate a word of my choosing on the open ff page, thats all

Le titre décrit déjà pas mal ce que je recherche: à propos des épingles de la page d'accueil, c'est pas très clair pour les urls qu'on peut mettre (web, certes mais), je mets par exemple un lien google drive pour l'icône mais à ce moment l'image n'est pas bien centré.. Il faudrait un lien qui affiche telle quelle l'image. Dès que la page ciblée n'est pas uniquement l'image, il y aura des bords ou autres.

Comment faire à ce moment là?
