I have a e-mail address set up in the name of <name>@gambianvillas.<xxx> but I don't know the password to access any messages

All you can do is contact the email provider. That is not Thunderbird (Mozilla). Prsumably it is gambianvilas. Publicly posting an emil adress is not a good idea by the way it i likely to attract spam.
