On restart it asks if I wish to restore previous session or new. Clicking either will open appropriate session, but, then it refuses to do anything when you click on it. It cannot be closed except throught using task manager. After restarting Windows same thing. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox with the same result.

This can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

Thanks. I uninstalled everything and installed latest version and it's OK. Thanks for helping out.

The folders didn't have any of those files so I ended up deleting all the folders and Mozilla itself. Reinstalled and it's still having the exact same problem. Why is this? I feel like this is a curse...

To MidnightBlu, When I uninstalled it for the first time I retained the links and the problem continued. On the second uninstall I deleted all the links and it's been fine ever since. Hurry up and do it as the latest version is much faster. Only thing is the learning curve as you have to get used to the new layout.

How do I delete the links?

When you uninstall Firefox it will ask if you wish to delete links and cookies. When you accept it will uninstall and on reinstalling it will do so cleanly. Tip: back up all your Bookmarks to Xmarks then on reinstalling install Xmarks and sychronise and all your Bookmarks will return. Hope this helps.

I can't find any of the folders now! It's not showing up. I tried looking in library and application support. It doesn't have mozilla folder so right now I'm screwed I have no idea where it is. I have to check my online bill and I cannot do that at all!
