This is really a Windows matter. In Win7 - I presume Vista is similar - right click on Desktop>Personalize>Screen Saver in bottom right hand corner. You should be able to make changes as you wish there.
If, in fact, you meant Desktop Background you do the same and look in the bottom left hand corner.
