I have installed both Firefox and Thunderbird. However, I can't get either to work as I get a message telling me there is a version running in the background that must be closed first. I have then removed all evidence and versions of Firefox and Thunderbird. After everything is removed, I restate my computer, then download again. then when I try to startup, I get the same message about a version running in the background.
