Could you please explain, what is your issue? Why do you think that turning off enhanced tracking would solve it?
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
Turning off enhanced tracking would solve all my problems with Firefox. Almost every website doesn't work until I turn off for that website. As soon as I do it refreshes and website works properly.
If you switch your Tracking Protection setting from Standard to Custom on the Settings page, then you can manage which items are affected by this feature. For example, you might allow more cookies or more tracking content by changing selectors or unchecking boxes. More info in this article: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop.
Did that some time ago. I left on the cryptominers and fingerprinters. I would like to keep them. It seems riduculous that Firefox can't allow the other websites to start. Please don't tell me that I have a problem with the two that remain checked. Ones that are blocked includes my credit union, bank, espn, and chase bank among the many. The number of exceptions is over 100.
It's difficult to imagine those sites have embedded content from known cryptomining or fingerprinting servers.
Before you trigger the page to reload, what is displayed in those pages. For example, blank screen, scrambled text, error messages? If there is an error message, could you copy/paste it into a reply.
I just deleted all of the exceptions and will reply later the result.
For some reason deleting all the sites that I had excepted from enhanced tracking solved the problem. For 2 days there has not been one problem and that was almost 100% of the sites previously having a problem. Not sure why but glad it's fixed. Thanks.
That seems backwards, but until something new goes wrong, it's hard to troubleshoot, so... let us know if problems return.
