When I try to take a quiz in my college course called MyMathLab I get this error message: You do not have the most recent version of the Adobe® Flash® Player, which is required to view the content in this course.

I have installed the latest version of Firefox and Adobe (10.2). I also have Windowx XP Home Version on my system. When I do the browser check I get this message: You are using a browser or operating system that this course does not support.

Please help as I only have to midnight tonight to get this quiz done or I will FLUNK the quiz. As math is my 'worst subject, I need all the points I can get by completing this quiz. Thanks in advance!

There's two different versions of Flash, one for IE and another for other browsers. You have Shockwave Flash 9.0 r47 installed for Firefox. Uninstall that version and install the 10.2 Plugin version.

1.Download the Flash setup file from here:
Adobe Flash - Plugin version.
Save it to your Desktop.

2. Close Firefox using File > Exit
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure firefox.exe is closed,
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del = Processes tab}

3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.

Your More system details list shows that you have an old "Shockwave Flash 9.0 r47" plugin installed.

You can find the old Flash plugin file NPSWF32.DLL in the plugins folder within the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\) and remove that file.

Also remove the flashplayer.xpt file in the components folder.
