There is a setting on Firefox that prevents me from responding to comments. I tried on another browser and do not have the same problem. Yahoo sends notifications that there was a response to my comment with a reply button. Although when pressing reply it is suppose dto take you to that comment and it does not. It takes you to the beginning of the comments. I have not changed any settings.

Firefox on my 2018 MacBook Pro started having issues downloading all file types after I disconnected Dropbox sync and backup. Each time I try to download a file, a failed message is displayed below the file name and type. The browser was using the downloads folder that was synced with Dropbox. After disconnecting Dropbox, I tried changing the downloads location, but the "Choose" button does not display a window. The result is the same whether the Always ask you where to save files is checked or not.

I have gone through the following steps trying to resolve this issue with no success.

1. I have reset/cleared any configuration setting found using about:config and browser.download.
2. I have launched Firefox in troubleshoot mode and tested downloads with no resolution.
3. I have uninstalled Firefox and installed a fresh copy from mozilla.org with no resolution.
4. I have set the downloads folder in Safari, but this did not provide a resolution. Downloads work as expected in Brave and Safari. The current downloads location is the Downloads directory on my iCloud Drive.

The second screenshot with the error attached in still referencing the Dropbox-connected Downloads folder. No other browsers are using this folder and the Dropbox app has been completely removed from my laptop.

I use Firefox for web development and need to be able to download various files throughout the day, so this has become very frustrating.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When right-clicking, neither Languages nor Check Spelling is displayed in the context menu. The language pack and dictionary are activated. In the settings, the checkbox for "Check spelling as you type" is selected, and the current Firefox version (133) is in use. However, no spell check is performed. I don’t know how to adjust the settings so that the options are visible and selectable in the context menu. I would appreciate your help. Thanks so much!

I'm using Firefox 133 (64 bit) and just recently the down arrow on the right hand side is missing. I still have the up arrow. How do i get the down arrow back.

If I set manual retrieval in the settings for an account, it is still retrieved when I open TB. How can I make it so that it is not retrieved at all, as on the desktop version, but only when needed? In the desktop version, I press the F5 key,

Incoming emails show at the bottom of the Inbox instead of the top. If I click on another folder then click on Inbox it shows at the top like it should. It wasn't always like this, how can I fix this?

In Duolingo you can turn on/off the sound settings which include 'motivational' noises when you answer correctly. I find them annoying so have them off. I've been using Duolingo and Firefox together for years, no problem, then a couple of months ago these sound settings became ineffective i.e. permanently on even if turned off in Duolingo. I thought the problem was a bug in Duolingo until I loaded it from Microsoft Edge and there was no problem. The settings turned on and off. I'd prefer to carry on as I was before and just use Firefox. How can I fix this?

As the subject says, I'm trying to get Discord links to open in the Discord desktop app instead of a Firefox tab. The 'Applications' section of my Firefox settings that has the settings to handle 'mailto' and 'magnet' links in external apps doesn't have any setting for Discord links for me to change, and I can't figure out how to add one.

J'avais, parallèlement, activé la synchronisation sur les divers appareils sur lesquels Firefox était installé. La recherche des mots de passe dans mon smartphone (système d'exploitation Androïd) s'exécutait sans problème, que ce soit en utilisant l'empreinte ou le schéma d'authentification. Depuis 1 mois, sans raisons apparentes, je n'ai plus accès au module de mots de passe. L'authentification ne permet pas l'ouverture de la section pour faire apparaitre la liste des mots de passe, et l'empreinte qui le permettait après de multiples tentatives, pendant une certaine période, est désormais sans effet. Pourriez vous me communiquer quelles pourraient être les causes de ce phénomène et comment réparer ce dysfonctionnement. J'ai déjà essayé de désinstaller et réinstaller l'application Firefox sans résultats. Je vous remercie du concours que vous voudrez bien m'apporter. Cordialement.

This new SIDEBAR that has appeared this morning. It has taken me an hour of my life to get rid of it. I am so exercised I decided to tell you how annoyed I am that it appeared with no simple way to get rid of it. Obviously designed by someone who has never tried working on a small laptop screen where every inch of visual real-estate is valuable.

Fortunately your support site is so full of other people complaining it had a solution that worked for me. I had already tried myself what the support site described as te recommended method then I discovered the "about:config" option and that has removed it. Never to be seen again I hope.

There's a wide empty white border/panel on the left side of my mozilla that seems to be a bug or something. When right clicked it gives the option: Manage Extension, Remove Extension, and Report Extension. Nothing is happening at all when I click any of these options. How to remove the border?

Today, when I started my pc, the google search engine would not completely load and I could not use the search engine. Now, when I restart my pc, I get an error "server not found". I believe that something at google went awry. Please help me as I rely on my pc for financial and medical issues. I have had problems with google in the past.
