I disabled AD Blocker Plus and Ghostery on the target URL page and did not see any change in behavior.

How about Google Disconnect?

By the way, I think the extension named "Disconnect" without a site name is the newest evolution.

I will assume this is not Waterfox specific, and respond based on Firefox.

How far do you get playing that video, meaning, is there a red play button and if you click it, do you get a control bar, and if you get a control bar, does any of the video play?

It happens to be an embedded YouTube video.

Does it play for you on YouTube itself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U-RbOKanYs

If it plays on YouTube, what player is it, the HTML5 player or Flash? Usually a quick right-click on the player tell the tale: Flash has a short context menu with its name on the bottom line.

By default, YouTube should serve an HTML5 player. If you are not getting HTML5, could you check the support page here:

Normally all but the last box are blue. What do you get?

That's probably enough questions for the first reply...

Reply: There are no controls at the bottom of the DIGG video; There is no control bar as would appear in any video; There is no video appearance whatsoever, not even a brief display; Right clicking on DIGG video does not yield any information as here is no video to interrogate.

Voila! Eureka! Dziękuję Ci! Grazie, Gracias.

My thanks.

S-O-L-V-E-D Yes, it worked after, per your guidance, I removed: Google Disconnect

And, I have replaced the forgoing with: https://disconnect.me/ as you suggested

Make the web faster, more private, and more secure. Disconnect, named one of the 100 best innovations of the year by Popular Science and one of the 20 best Firefox add-ons by Lifehacker, lets you visualize and block the otherwise invisible websites that track your search and browsing history.
