mailto client opens the compose mail window after going to mail client
Mailto client works now after deleting the mime types folder and changing about:config mailto to default. Now when I get to my mail and start opening, or deleting messages the compose mail window opens. It does this at random. Sometimes it is fine, others not. It was doing this before the previous issue of mailto missing problem. There must be another value not set right. Let me know how to fix this.

You have mentioned the only two places that I know where to change the mail to functionality. Is it possible to share the webmail interface to determine if it is not a compatibility issue?
Which webmail interface do you want to know about? Yahoo Mail is my default webmail client. I also have Google (gmail.) Chrome is the third one listed in about:config mail strings. What should the string names and values be for the mail settings?
Yahoo Mail is my default webmail client.
Default is for a program that is installed on your PC and set as your Default Email Client in Programs Access and Defaults in the Windows Control Panel, like Windows Live.
For mailto in Options > Applications try using Use Yahoo! Mail instead.
Quote from PM:
Yes, mailto works great now. I still have the problem with pages loading slow, and freezing . It happens after I have been browsing for 20-30 minutes. I close Firefox. Sometimes it does not want to close. After being prompted to close Firefox it closes. I run CCleaner. Resart Firefox. Works fine for 20-30 minutes. Then does the same thing. Sometimes I even get double pages opening. Then I can not close them. I have checked my add-ons they are up to date. Everything else is up to date. I have also tried resetting and reinstalling Firefox. Even tried changing the profile name with .old. Still the same problem. This has been going on since the release of Firefox 30.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.
Did you rename the profile in both locations (main profile and cache)? Otherwise you might have still have kept the cache. C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\ C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
