As of thunderbird release 78.12.0 POP mail wont accept a password to a Gmail account. I have 2 Gmail accounts, both were POP mail. Now one of them works OK as usual, the other wont accept an password to logon to its Gmail account. I've been working this for 2 days with no success. I reloaded Thunderbird and now they have been converted to IMAP accounts. I dont want that, I'm better off with POP mail. I've been through the FAQ's, learned a lot, but my problem remains. Very frustrating!
