I have local folders and they contain sub folders, which contain sub folders again. I have set up some rules, which move unread mails to these folders based on some conditions. At the end, there are several unread mails in the different folders.

It is a great effort to traverse all sub folders and do "mark folder read" on them.

It is much simpler to use "mark folder read" on the parent folder, and all of the child folders could be marked as read.

But this does not work.

Is there an existing solution for this need?
