In the Firefox Beta there is Tablet support, but not for the HTC Flyer?

I just miss the Tablet UI for the HTC Flyer. For example the left bar for open tabs, or the star for favorites. The HTC Flyer is a honeycomb running Tablet.

Hi Ricbone,

try settings (3 dots in top-right corner) and uncheck "desktop version" if it is checked.

The HTC Flyer is only 7"

From https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934153 The interface design for 7" tablets is essentially a hybrid combination of traditional Firefox for Android (on Google Play) phone user-interface intertwined with a partial design from the new tablet interface geared for larger (10"+) tablets.

From https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/924870 You can type about:config in the address bar and using the filter find browser.ui.layout.tablet. Select it and use the arrow buttons to change the value to 1.

This is an unsupported configuration and may result in an unusable interface.

So is mine Samsung Galaxy Tab and works ok without any changes to config.

Worked on v. 14 and works now when I upgraded to v. 15.0. Am I missing something James?

Thanks,

jm

Thanks for the answer, but for Galaxy Tab Users it seems to work.

it would be really nice if the left bar for open Tabs could also work for the flyer.

@Ricbone Are you on default rom? What density? From what has James written it might be the case that the reason why it works on some Galaxy Tabs 7 is that these have custom density...

Yes I'm using the default rom. The pixel denity is ~ 170 ppi. The resolution is 1024x600 pixels.
