feature request - clear cache for a single page
It would be nice to have a command in the right-click context menu of every single tab to clear the cache for the loaded page (the current address)
thanks

It is not possible to clear the cache for just one website, any clear operation that involves a cache clears the full cache. This even happens if you would use "Forget About This Site" to clear data from a specific website. With cookies and local storage this is possible, but for a cache this isn't possible.

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
Sorry, I found several other inquiries like mine on this forum. I left my feedback, anyway, by using the command from the help menu.
Hi johnnyontheweb84, I can't think of a way to clear cache just for the current page without clearing other data. However, you can reload the page fresh -- bypassing the cache -- using either:
- Ctrl+Shift+r
- Ctrl+F5
- Shift+click the reload button on the toolbar
