Anonymous tabs were closed even though the app wasn't closed

I had some dozen of anonymous tabs open (mostly images I wanted to download later on without the hosting site cluttering my history). I let Firefox run in background over some time and when I opened it again anonymous tabs were gone.

Close Tabs is set to manual. Battery usage is unrestricted.
