I want to keep the web address bar open at the top of the screen irrespective of what I am doing and I do not want to be sent to a Google sign up page
My opening internet screen has changed and the new arrangement does not suit the way I use the internet. The address bar can only be opened by passing an undefined point in the top right hand corner. Even then it disappears quickly. I t does not stay open. I want to keep that address bar open whatever I am doing as I could in the past. I also do not want the opening screen to be a request to sign up to other Google services. I just want the Google Search screen. In summary the recent changes are not useful to me, they just waste my time. I want what I had before. Do I have to go to the alternative of
Internet explorer?

Check if you are running Firefox in Full Screen mode
- click Firefox button and unselect Full Screen
- or press F11 to toggle Off Full Screen mode
Check and tell if its working.
