When I try to compact folders in T-bird, it freezes. Can u help?
When I try to compact folders in Thunderbird, it freezes. When I click on anything, the window turns cloudy, semi-transparent and stays frozen. I cannot even stop the process. All I can do is shut down and restart the computer. Can anyone help with a fix for this?

Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode. - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode
Does the problem go away?
