Firefox Keeps Deleting Approved Pop-Up Exceptions List

more options

Greetings! Each and every time I close out Firefox, it deletes my pop-up approved exceptions list. There are two sites I visit regularly that use pop-up windows for displaying information, and if I add them to the exceptions list, they are gone (along with any others) the next time I open Firefox. This doesn't seem like the type of thing that should get deleted with clear history on close settings. It is happening with version 80.0.1, and happened with the prior version. Any thoughts on what might be causing this and/or solutions would be most appreciated.

Hi, if you are using this feature --

Options page > Privacy & Security panel > History section > "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history"

[X] Clear history when Firefox closes

-- you can control which categories of data are cleared. Click the Settings button to the right of that line and make sure you are not clearing the "Site Preferences" category. That refers to site-specific exceptions you add in Firefox.
