Firefox Sync - deleting Firefox from old
Hi, I have an old computer which I have Firefox on with tons of stuff...after getting a new laptop and syncing the two I want to now delete Firefox from the old laptop and use it for other things and still have all the old stuff on the new laptop. I thought the server keeps everything and if I sign out the old laptop that whatever was saved in to the new laptop stays. However, on the new laptop after signing off the old one from sync I don't see the tabs anymore. It makes sense because there is nothing to sync but how do I do what I want then? Many thanks for your assistance. Do I have to "send" 1000 tabs from old to new? Isn't the server maintaining the tabs/history even after I sign off the old laptop from sync?
Many thanks in advance for your assitance.

Open tabs seem to sync in real time, so you would need to either convert those to bookmarks or take some other action to save them.
On the old system, in each window, you can use Bookmark All Tabs (Ctrl+Shift+D) to add a new bookmark folder with all the tabs in that window. Then eventually these should show up in your bookmarks on the new system.
Thank you very much for your prompt response.
On googling I see this response in a reddit post (r/firefox : Open all synced tabs?) Solved- If you view the Synced Tabs Sidebar, you can right-click the device name, then click "Open All in Tabs".
I don't see any ability to right click the device name in "Synced Tabs" - but apparently this solved the problem for the OP in that thread...I do see all the tabs under the other laptop name but no way to right click.
The bookmarks approach is one way, but then I need to go to each and open the tab instead of being able to use open all in Tabs. Also the bookmark approach loses the history of each tab.
Any further thoughts appreciated.
Oh, I meant if you already have all the tabs open on your other computer, it would be easy to bookmark them there and Sync the new folders through bookmarks. Each bookmark folder has a right-click menu item to "Open All Bookmarks" which opens them in tabs.
When you viewing Synced tabs in the sidebar in Firefox on the new computer, then you can Open All in Tabs there. However, I think you said you do not currently have that list on the new computer.
Note that you can copy sessionstore.jsonlz4 from the old computer to the profile on the new computer to transfer all the tabs.
