Gmail ask me again and again my password
Hi
I have a thunderbird with 3 google accounts and 2 ovh accounts Since today I'm annoyed with my google (no problem with ovh) accounts that ask me for my password every time I try to search new messages.
I confirm the password, I confirm on my phone that "it's me", I confirm that I validated, it seems to work but
- it does not retrieve my new emails - it asks me again for the password the next time
I am in POP port 995 and SSL/TLS / OAuth2 I tried to delete the saved passwords, to disable the firewall I'm out of ideas...
Thanks in advance for your help

I try to install Thunderbird in another computer and that work fine So i try to completely remove Thunderbird on my main computer and reinstall it, but i have the same problem again when i try to create the account
The problem don't come from Thunderbird, don't come from Gmail so what, windows 10 ???
Cookies on Thunderbird & Firefox are good I try to cute firewall & virus protection
Really need help for that. I'm out of idea
Uninstalling and reinstalling won't fix Tbird profile problems. To start afresh, uninstalling is not necessary. You just need a new profile. Quit Thunderbird, go to the %AppData% folder and rename the Thunderbird folder to Thunderbird.old. Launch Thunderbird and it will start with a fresh new profile. Set up your account.
Hi Stans. I do that before install a new version. Fix nothing unfortunately.
Try Windows safe mode with networking. You'll need to connect via cable (wifi won't work in that mode).

I'm an idiot for not having thought of this before. Thank you very much Stans !!! I created all my accounts, I should probably do the same thing again if I log out.
If someone with the definitive solution comes by I'm still interested :)
This is confirmation that third-party software is interfering with Thunderbird's normal functioning when Windows is running normally. Antivirus (and firewall) programs are a common cause of such issues, and since they do not run in safe mode, they don't affect it the way they do in normal mode. You can't run Windows in safe mode for daily driving your PC. That's not the solution. What you need to do is get rid of the culprit program OR have it configured in such a way that it doesn't disrupt Tbird's normal functioning. Which security program are you using?

Yes. No real-time protection.
Have we actually resolved that javascript is enabled in Thunderbird? Use the config editor and check Javascript.enabled preference is set to true.

Yes, Javascript = true But that can't be the problem since that work in safe mode
Sounds like a windows 10 configuration problem but can't figure out
